  • Open the iPhone 16 screen, and put the wrong password several times to reach the limit.
  • Repeat the process until the device reaches the “iPhone Unavailable” screen.

  • Once you’re done with it, your iPhone starts resetting to the factory settings.
  • Now just wait for the erase process to complete.

Note:

To reset through iCloud, you must remember the “Apple ID” and its password. You can reset the Password using a computer or other iPhone device if you don't know the password.

Method 4: Factory Reset an iPhone 16 with iTunes (Without Passcode)

Factoryly resetting an iPhone 16 through iTunes is another alternative way to do so without the “Apple ID” and password. You just need a laptop and the software installed on the PC to perform this task. Once the setup is ready, you can follow this process after me.

To reset the iPhone to the factory settings, follow these steps.

  • Connect your device to the computer through the compatible iPhone cable.
  • Now, put your iPhone into the “Recovery Mode” 

  • To do this, press the “Volume Up,” “Volume down,” and then hold the “Power” button utill it turned off.
  • Once the “Recovery Mode” is left, press the “Power” button.
  • Now, open iTunes on your computer. Your iPhone will load momentarily, and a pop-up will appear on the screen asking about “Restore” or “Update” your iPhone.
  • Now, click the “Restore” option, and then click “Restore and Update” option again.
  • Follow the screen prompts on the PC to complete this process.
  • Once done, it’ll begin downloading the “iOS system” on your device.
  • Now, after downloading, your device will start resetting your iPhone automatically.
  • Once it's done, you’re ready to use iPhone again.

Note:

To complete this process, don’t disconnect your device while performing the task. Also, ensure that iTunes is installed on your device and up to date.
